Irish Dancing Hen Party FAQs

Do we need to know Irish dancing already?

Not at all! Our instructor will teach you everything from scratch. Even if you've never danced before, you'll be able to follow along and have a great time. The steps are broken down simply to ensure everyone can join in.

Is Irish dancing difficult to learn?

While professional Irish dancing takes years to master, our hen party class focuses on fun, achievable steps that everyone can enjoy. We'll teach you simplified versions of traditional moves, and the emphasis is on having a great time rather than perfect technique. Your specialist instructor will ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident.

Should we wear special shoes or Celtic costumes?

Regular trainers or flat shoes work perfectly - you don't need special Irish dancing shoes. Green clothing or Celtic accessories are fun but totally optional. The most important thing is to wear something comfortable that you can move in. Some groups love to embrace the theme with green outfits or shamrock accessories!

Is this suitable for all ages?

Yes! We've had groups ranging from 18 to 70+ all enjoying Irish Dancing together. The moves can be adapted for different fitness levels, and the emphasis is on having fun rather than perfection. It's a great activity for mixed-age hen parties.
